Phoenix Mental Health ServicesPhoenix is a concept that arose in reaction to the changes happening in mental health services in the NHS. Inspired by ‘lean’ ways of working our vision is to develop high quality ethical services which add value to the patient experience.
All our practitioners are experienced in their own fields and many also work in the NHS. We seek to combine the best of NHS practice with the best of private practice to create a personalised service, where the patient is central.
Our intention is to provide continuity of care, offering you a real choice in the way you are cared for. Central to this is our association with the Cardinal Clinic which is an established leader in inpatient and day hospital services in the Thames Valley. We share their ethic of timely and targeted intervention in an appropriate environment.
Although the service you get is very real, we have deliberately chosen to be a ‘virtual’ organisation. We do not have premises of our own but will see you in a range of medical settings, appropriate to your needs. For continuing care patients this can include your own home if this is what you would like. Initial appointments will usually be in a formal healthcare setting.
Our aim is to provide you with a ‘seamless’ service, where the bureaucracy does not impinge on your care any more than it has to. We want to break down barriers to care and recovery and we will try our best to ensure that this happens by enlisting the services of appropriate personnel.
We hope to be able to provide a range of services as we develop. We have some ideas about what these might be, but we are open to suggestions, so please do contact us if you have any queries or ideas. Full information about our current services can be found under the Services menu on this website. |
