Phoenix Mental Health ServicesWelcome to Phoenix. We provide psychiatric services for South Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in association with the inpatient and day hospital services of Cardinal Clinic - an established leader psychiatric care in the Thames Valley. We share their ethic of timely and targeted intervention in an appropriate environment. Our intention is to provide continuity of care, offering you a real choice in the way you are cared for. Initial appointments will usually be in a formal healthcare setting, either in our premises in Wooburn Green (adults) or Oxford (children and adolescents). Thereafter, for continuing care adult patients, we can also offer the services of a community psychiatric nurse, which is rare, if not unique, in private practice. She can visit you in your own home if appropriate to your needs. Our aim is to provide you with a ‘seamless’ service, where the bureaucracy does not impinge on your care anymore than it has to. We want to break down barriers to care and recovery and we will do our best to ensure that this happens by enlisting the services of appropriate personnel, such as psychologists and other therapists, whom we work with.
